" I visited with my mother for treatment of diabetes around a year back. My mother was consulting Dr Wanganoo of Escorts Hospital at the time. At the time, she was taking 52 units of insulin through a pump attached permanently to her body. Though, Dr Wanganoo is a very famous and renowned doctor, we wanted to have a second opinion and try an alternative treatment without too much dependence on supplementary insulin. Dr Mudit, during the first consultation said that there was a possibility of completely getting rid of the insulin pump, it was little unbelievable for us. However, we decided to give the treatment a fair chance. Doctor kept on reducing the insulin dosage on each consecutive visit. Last week, she was taken completely off the insulin dosage.
