" We were blessed with a baby girl in January 2023 under the guidance of Dr Shobana. A pregnancy full of complications, pre term labour, late pre term delivery, postpartum hemorrhage was handled skillfully by such calm and composed doctor. Even with many complications, I had a normal delivery. During the entire pregnancy, doctor was just a phone call away. Unnecessary medications, scans, procedures were never prescribed and everything was clearly explained. I felt that doctor personally care for her patients. " Neither my husband nor I are paranoid parents. But as anyone who has a child will know, the sheer stress of managing a sick one is one of the worst kinds of stress there is. Add to that an arrogant and severely egoistic doctor, and you've just about signed yourself up for the worst time of your life. When we moved to Bangalore, friends referred the good Doctor Vasanth Shetty to us. We had not unfortunately reckoned that being insulted and treated as a bunch of illiterates routinely by the doctor was par for the course. Worse, since Dr. Shetty does not like (HATES) to be disturbed on his cellphone (we called him twice in seven months of being his clients, I wonder why its listed above), we had to use the services of a family doctor (also a pediatrician) on a Sunday. Well, this "step out of line" upset the doctor so much that he either deliberately misled us (vengefully) / did not exercise adequate diligence (incompetence) in diagnosing my child's condition. Which turned out to be a serious one. I strongly advise anyone against using this doctor's services. Sparkling qualities such as vengefulness, possible incompetence, a completely misplaced ego are hardly desirable in your child's pediatrician.
