" Our son had been advised operation for hydronephrosis by a renowned pediatric surgeon of a so called best hospital for child care in Kolkata, we got tensed and almost decided to go out of kolkata for his treatment when we heard of Dr. Patra from my brother's colleague and decided to take his opinion on May'22. Dr. Patra told us that operation is not required immediately and advised us to keep him under observation and repeat the USG after 3Months from a diagnostic center. The repeat usg was normal and having major differences in measurements from the one we did earlier from the same hospital. We repeated USG again in March which again is normal.We recommend everyone to please visit Dr. Patra before doing any surgery for your child as he is highly experienced , always thinks in the best interest of the child and will not do any surgery unneccessarily. " We consulted a doctor in January 2022, as my son developed swelling and pain of private part who advised me that it needs Preputial reconstruction or Circumcision. We got worried and then consulted Dr Rishavdeb Patra. He saw my son and removed the pus collected below the skin. On our next visit in February, he retracted the skin backwards and explained us how to do at home. We are now able to push the skin backwards and clean it. We are now relieved.
